S.N.E.A.K.Y (Part 2)

My aunt said "this is Edward" as if I had no idea who he was.
Yes, I did know who this "Edward" man was. But I have never actually called him Edward, I have always called him Mr. Romano. Yes, Mr. Romano as in my VICE PRINCIPAL at Westbrook Academy!!

"Hi Mr. Romano..." I said slowly.
"Hello Rebecca. And please, call me Edward while were out of school" He smiled to me. Then he looked at my aunt, they looked at each other as if they have been in love there whole life.

So let me tell you a little about Mr. Edward Romano. He has straight jet black hair, brown eyes that are almost a goldish color. He's probably about 35 years old. We have two Vice Principals (Mr. Romano and Mrs. York) Mr. Ramano is the nicest, Mrs. York is kinda mean...

"So this is who you've been going to dinner with?" I asked Lucy, I'm not going to lie I was kinda mad that my aunt was going out with my vice Principal behind my back.
"Yes!" Aunt Lucy hugged Edward. I swear, I almost threw up.

"How nice.." I said slowly, and I walked back into the condo. I walked to the kitchen.
I started to make me a bagel, I was kinda hungry.

I noticed Aunt Lucy was standing in the kitchens doorway.
"Hopefully, this isn't going to be weird for you.." Lucy shrugged.
"Oh why would it be weird? Its just my aunt and my VICE PRINCIPAL going out, there's NOTHING wierd about that" I said sarcastically, and then rolled my eyes.

"I'm sorry sweetie, it just happened..." My aunt walked over to me.
"How? How did you two even meet?" I snapped. "Well, remember when I had to sign you up for Westbrook Academy? Well I had to make an appointment with Mr. Romano. And when I saw him, I thought I knew him from somewhere. It turns out we went to high school and college together! So we had each others phone number and he called me up one day and asked me if I wanted to go to dinner "to catch up" and I agreed. And we started to like each other. So that's what happened.." My aunt explained.

"Okay then. Its just strange, how am I going to explain to everyone that my aunt is going out with Mr. Romano! Its going to be so weird..." I said as I buttered my bagel.

"Please Rebecca, make it work! I really like him, and its been a while since I've actually felt this way about someone." Lucy hugged me.
"Okay, Okay!" I laughed.

"Good! Now eat your bagel and then come outside with Edward and I" She smiled and then walked outside.

This is going to be so strange having my vice principal being my aunts boyfriend. But I'm going to try and work it out, for my aunt!

S.N.E.A.K.Y (Part 1)

So my aunts been kinda sneaky these days. She's going out to dinner with someone every night, and isn't getting home until late at night.

I wonder what she's doing? Every time I ask her "Where are you going?" she says "Somewhere.." and when I ask her "Who are you going with?" she says "Oh just a friend Rebecca!"

Its driving me insane trying to figure out what she's been doing!

Yesterday morning I woke up and walked downstairs. It seemed REALLY quiet!

I was so relieved that I didn't have school that morning. The only problem was that I was planning on just relaxing all day, BUT I got a call on Saturday from Logan Newmann saying that "I had to come in on Monday, to rehearse for the play" Even though I really wanted to relax, I had to go. We haven't been rehearsing because Mr. Newmann has been to busy with the other play he was producing that was already on Broadway.

I walked to the kitchen, expecting to see my aunt sitting at the table sipping her coffee while she read her latest Gossip Magazine. 

But to my surprise I didn't see her! I walked into the living room to see if she was watching T.V., Nope she wasn't there.

Then I walked back upstairs to her bedroom, to see if she was still sleeping even though she was usually always up before me. Nope! She wasn't there either. Where could this women be?

I walked back down stairs and went to the kitchen. I grabbed my phone that was sitting on the counter and was getting ready to call my aunt. Then I saw a Pink piece of paper laying on the other side of the counter.

"Whats this?" I said to myself. I walked over to the paper and picked it up.

It said:  

GOOD MORNING REBECCA! I went out for some things, Leah should be picking you up at the Theater. I'm way to busy. Sorry! I'll see you later. Love ya, Aunt Lucy.

I rolled my eyes. She went out for some things? Psh! What is she really doing?

I went and got dressed. Then I got a text from Leah saying she was here to pick me up. I grabbed my purse, locked the door, and then headed to the parking lot.

Four hours later, I was on my way home. Rehearsal went good, the only bad thing was that I had forgotten some of my lines. Mr. Newmann said that "It was fine, just practice a little more!" And I also saw my boyfriend, Dylann! Which was nice. Mr. Newmann said that the play was hopefully going to be starting on Broadway sometimes in October or November! We have lots more to do, that's why its so far away.

I told Leah bye as I got out of the limo.
I rushed to the elevator in the front lobby of the condo complex I live in, I really couldn't wait to put my pajamas on and just relax and watch T.V.

I went to get the key to the condo out of my purse, but the door was already unlocked.
I shrugged, my aunt must be home already..
I walked in and shut the door. I sat my purse on the table by the stairs. Then I yelled "Aunt Lucy! I'm home"

I didn't hear an answer, but I did hear some giggling coming from outside. I walked into the family room, where I saw my aunt on the Terrance. I opened the sliding glass door.

"Hey Aunt Lu-" I was starting to say, but then I saw some man sitting in the chair next to my aunts.

"Hey Rebecca, this is Edward. The person I've been going to dinner with" My aunt pointed to the man.
My eyes grew wide....

Sleepover at Audra's

Today was Friday, I honestly LOVED Fridays! Who didn't?
I was all ready for the weekend, I was having a three day weekend this week because Monday is Labor Day.
I had plans to go to the movies with Kaylynn and Kylie on Saturday. I was going with Haylee and my aunt on Sunday to a Fashion Event! I was planning on just relaxing on Monday, eat lots of food, wear my PJ's all day, watch stupid movies and laugh my butt off. And then tonight I was sleeping the night at Audra's house.

She invited me yesterday to stay the night, and I really wanted to. So of course I said yes, but then I realized what if I blurted out that I was going to the dance with Dylann, and that I was...well...in a relationship with him..

I packed my bags, put my cute Aeropostale PJ's on and then my Aunt Lucy drove me to Audra's house. Which was about 10 minutes out of the City.

When we got to her driveway, I stared in awe. This wasn't the first time I had been at Audra's house, but every time I see it I still look at it in awe! It's just so beautiful. The outside looks so elegant on the outside, and even more elegant on the inside. I guess that's the type of house you have when both your parents are Broadway producers and own THREE Theaters!

My aunt walked my to there front door, even though I begged her not to. She wanted to talk to Audra's parents, believe it or not my aunt and Audra's parents are actually really close. They've known each other since high school and my aunt sometimes designs clothes for some of there plays.

Audra's mom, Tiffany Miller, answered the door.
"Hello! Its so nice to see you Lucy, and of course Rebecca" Tiffany smiled and motioned for us to come in. Her mom was ALWAYS smiling!
"Hi Mrs. Miller! Wheres Audra?" I asked.
"She's upstairs in her room, you know where it at" Tiffany said as I started to walk upstairs. Her and my aunt then started talking and they sat in the living room.

I walked upstairs and turned right. I past 2 doors and then I saw a door that said "AUDRA" on it. I knocked on the door lightly. "Come in" I heard Audra say.
I walked in, "Hey Audra!". She was sitting on her bead reading a magazine.
She looked up and said "Hey Becky!"

"Is there any troubled celebrities in this issue?" I said, I was talking about the "Star" magazine she was reading.
She laughed "When isn't there!"
I shrugged and sat my bag down on a chair, and then I sat her bed.

I saw what she was reading. She looked up at me and said "So...I heard something this morning.."
"ABOUT?" I automatically said.
"Well...you of course!" She frowned. I knew what she was talking about...
"I'm SO SORRY! It just happened! I didn't expect it or nothing, I had NO IDEA!" I started explaining.

She looked at me with her bright green eyes, "So you had no idea you were going to a fashion Event with Haylee?"
"Huh?" I said confused.
"Your going to a fashion event with Haylee, aren't you? That's what she said.." She shrugged.
"Yeah, but.." I started to say.

"But nothing! I cant believe you didn't invite ME!" She acted like she was annoyed with me, and then she smiled.
"I'M JUST KIDDING!" She laughed, all my relief flooded from my body and I said "Phew.."

"What did you think I was talking about?" Audra asked.
"Uh..Um..nothing" I acted like it wasn't a big idea. Her eyebrows furrowed, "I know your lying, I can see it in your eyes. Now tell me!" She said.

"No, honestly, it's not a big deal!" I shrugged and grabbed the magazine and started reading it.
She grabbed the magazine and said "Your keeping something from me!!!"
I sighed and shook my head no. "Rebecca just tell me! I hate when people keep secrets from me. What ever it is, if you keep it a secret from me then its just going to make it worse!"

I thought about what she just said, I guess it would make it worse...
"Okay Okay!" I sighed. "Spit it out!" She motioned for me to go on.
"Well, it all started when I..." and then I explained everything to her. I told her about going to the old drama room with Dylann, getting in trouble with the principal, having to clean the art room, getting into a paint war with Dylann, and then I told her about Dylann dancing with me and then we kissed.

I bit my lip when I stopped talking, hoping she wouldn't be mad. She looked at me, her bright green eyes looked about the size of a basketball.
"So...you and..Dylann, are going out?" She asked. I nodded my head, and then I told her about how he asked me to the dance.

"Well...Okay, then.." She shrugged. My jaw dropped, "So, your NOT mad?" I asked.
"No, why would I be? If you like him and he likes you back, then go for it!" She smiled.
"B-Bu-But! What about that whole Renee thing? You two apparently hate each other now!" I was so confused.

"Let me explain this. Renee wasn't my close friend, at all. Michael was my first boyfriend, so when we broke up I was SO heartbroken! Then Renee asked him out THAT DAY! It was so ridiculous, and I'll be the first one to tell you I was SUPER jealous back then. I was in a relationship with Michael for like 4 months, and that's a big deal! Dylann and I were in a relationship for about a month, then he started to hang out with that stupid Madisyn girl, and They were getting really close. So I broke up with him. That was about 3 months ago, I'm totally over it!" Audra explained to me.

"I don't want it to be awkward, so are you sure?" I asked.
"YES OF COURSE! Totally, go for it!" Audra smiled and hugged me. I hugged her back and said "Yay!!! I'm so happy"

She then leaned back and said "But remember, if he breaks your heart, I'm going to break his neck!" and then she laughed.
"Um..Thanks?" I laughed.


The rest of the night we sat around reading magazines, watching a movie, ate some popcorn and ice cream, painted our toe nails, and did each others hair.

What am I getting myself into....

I had actually decided to take a Taxi to school this morning, since I never actually have taken one before.
The Taxi driver was getting ready to ride into the schools entrance, but I stopped him.
"You can stop here" I told him.
"You sure?" He asked, but he stopped anyways. I nodded my head, grabbed my backpack, and then payed the man.

I got out of the taxi and started walking.
I had been thinking real hard about everything that had happened this weekend. Dylann kissing me, and then me finding out that Audra went out with Dylann.
I don't want to lose Audra as a friend, her friendship means so much to me.

But then again I don't want to lose Dylann..

I walked by a silver car and looked at my reflection in the mirror. I was wearing a really cute outfit today! I had on Jean short shorts, a pink and white spaghetti strap shirt that had flowers on it with a white undershirt, and pink converse shoes. My hair was curled and I was wearing a white Fadora hat. I adjusted my hat and then walked up to the school.

People were skateboarding down the sidewalks, some people were doing flips, and some people were just chilling out and waiting for the bell to ring. I noticed a bunch of posters that said "Back to school Dance!"
A DANCE!!!!???

I saw Audra and she waved for me to come over. Kaylynn, Kylie, and Haylee were also hanging out with her.
I sighed and walked over to them, Kaylynn hugged me and whispered in my ear "Don't talk about you and Dylanns kiss.."
Then we started talking about what girls talk about. Make up, Jewelry, clothes, the VMA awards, ect.

Then I saw Dylann, he was walking straight to me. Any other time I would be totally excited BUT not this time, since Audra was standing RIGHT NEXT TO ME!

He smiled and hugged me as he said "Hi" to me.
I hugged him back lightly, and then I said "what are you doing here?"
Audra gave Dylann a mean look and said "YEAH! What is he doing here?"

"Well Audra, I was coming to ask Rebecca something!" He snapped and then looked at me.
"What?" My eyes got big.
"Well I was wondering if you wanted to-" he started to say and then Kaylynn butted in and said "Hey girls, how about we go get a coffee from the Starbucks stand!" They all agreed and then walked away.

I mouthed "Thank you" two Kaylynn as she went by.

"So what were you saying?" I asked him.
"Well I was wondering if you wanted to go to the Back to school Dance with...me?" He smiled, his cheeks were turning red.
I said "YES!" Before I could even think about what Audra would think about me going with him..
"Cool!" He nodded and then he took my hand and held it. He moved in to kiss me, but I dunked and said "Sorry! I have a really bad cold. We probably shouldn't kiss because of that" I fake coughed. I didn't want anyone to see us kiss because then they might tell Audra!

"Oh okay.." Dylann said and then he waved and walked away.

I sighed and sat down, I put my head in my hands and sobbed.

What am I getting myself into? Do I want Audra to completely flip out on me!!!?

Our little Secret...

So of course we had gotten in trouble for making an even BIGGER mess in the Art Room.
Why wouldn't we? I take full blame for what happened, I was the one that started it by taking the paint brush away from Dylann.
But we both got in trouble, which means Detention everyday for two more weeks! Yeah...that sucks..

But I don't care! The best thing happened to me that day, which was kissing the wonderful Dylann Newmann!!
I had no idea he was into me, and I kinda had no idea I was into him..

This morning I walked over to one of my closest friends which was Kaylynn Woods condo. She lives in the same complex I live in. Out of all my friends, Kaylynn and I have become the closest.
Knocked on her door and skipped in when she opened it.
"Well your happy this morning!" Kaylynn said then she took a sip of her Coffee.
I laughed and said "You have no idea.."
"Hmm?" Kaylynn was confused.

"Well on Saturday remember how I had to clean up the art room with Dylann? Well..." I started to say, and then I explained everything to her.

Her eyes got big and her jaw dropped when I got to the kissing part.
"No! No, no no, this isn't good! Ooooh, this isn't good Rebecca!" She started gulping her coffee down.
"Why isn't that good? Aren't you happy for me?" I asked her, a little confused.

"I'am! Oh trust me, I'am. BUT Audra probably isn't going to be quit happy..." Kaylynn said as she got up and poured herself some more coffee
"Why wouldn't she be?" I laughed, trying to get Kaylynn's attention.
"Oh Rebecca, you have no idea! Audra....well she use to go out with..Dylann!" Kaylynn frowned.
Now my jaw was the one that dropped, "She did!" I screamed.
"Shhh!" Kaylynn hissed, "Yes she did! That's why she hates him so much, apparently Dylann broke her heart. But I think that's a bunch of lies because she was the one who broke up with him!"

I started fanning myself because all of a sudden I started sweating, "What am I going to tell her?" I asked.
Kaylynn shrugged and sipped her coffee and then said "Don't tell her about it, it will just be between us! Our little secret.."
"But she's going to find out! Word travels fast around Westbrook Academy.." I whined, I'am so going to get it.
"No! Just don't tell anybody, and make Dylann promise to not tell anyone either. You do NOT want Audra to know. One time Renee started going out with Audra's old ex-boyfriend Michael. And ever since Renee's life has been different, Audra and her are like enemies now!" Kaylynn explained to me.

"Who's Renee?" I had no idea who that was.
"EXACTLY! Nobody knows what happened to her, some people say she moved. Audra knows people! For goodness sake, her parents are Broadway producers and own 3 theaters! She knows people.." Kaylynn grabbed my shoulders.

My eyes got big, what if the friendship between Audra and me turns out like her friendship with Renee?!?

Fireworks

-Brittany: This is an Early post BECAUSE I wont be home tomorrow to write it or post it!!-

So I had to have 3 hours of detention on Thursday and Friday.
Now, its the day I have been dreading....
The day I have to clean up the art room with Dylann..

I put on a pair of purple sweat pants, and then put on a white and purple aeropostale shirt.
I was looking very chill today, I didn't even bother putting makeup on or making my hair pretty. Instead I just put on some lip gloss (since my lips were feeling VERY dry) and I put my hair in a high pony tail.

Then, I walked downstairs and my limo driver, Leah, called and said she was here to pick me up.

When we arrived at school, I got out of the limo and dragged myself to the art room.
This was NOT going to be a very fun day..

I opened the art room, and it wasn't surprising that Dylann wasn't there yet.
The Art room was A MESS! Whoever was in that fight was really good at making such a big mess!
"Good morning miss Rubin!" The art teacher, Mrs. Rae, smiled. She was always nice.
"Morning.." I groaned.
"Dylann isn't here yet, but you can get started. I need you to pick up all the paint brushes that are all over the floor, and wash the paint off of them." Mrs. Rae said, I slowly picked up all the paint brushes. I already had paint all over my fingers.
Mrs. Rae put on the Radio, and we jammed out to some music. Which made the whole thing kinda better..

I heard the door open, I knew it was Dylann, so there I didn't even turn around.
"Sorry I'm late.." Dylann said to Mrs. Rae.
"It's alright. Rebecca will explain what you two are doing right now"  Mrs. Rae pointed towards me.
I rolled my eyes, I wasn't planning on talking to him..

I heard Dylann walking towards me. I picked up some more paint brushes and then quickly walked to the sink to wash all the paint off.
"Come on! You cant still be mad at me?" Dylann whispered when he walked to the sink. I guess he didn't want Mrs. Rae to hear our conversation. I rolled my eyes, I wasn't going to talk to him.
"Ugh, please Rebecca, talk to me!" He begged me. I shook my head and gave him some paint brushes to clean.
He started to clean the paint brushes.
"I get that your mad at me but, it was your choice to come! You could have said no!" Dylann tried to explain. I looked at him with big eyes, "I only went because you were practically pulling me!"
"Yay! Your talking to me now" Dylann said and then he noticed my jaw getting tight, "Okay, but you could have slapped my hand and said NO!" he shrugged.
"Your so annoying!" I rolled my eyes.

"Psssh! You don't mean that"
"YES I DO!" I screamed.

Mrs. Rae looked at us and then shrugged and said "I have a meeting to go to, I will be back in about 30 minutes. Hopefully..." and then she walked out of the room.
I took a rag and started to clean the paint off the walls.
Dylann started to pick all the paper and stuff off the floor.

Then he walked over to a table that had paints, paint brushes and and some paper on it.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" I asked him, as he took a paint brush and dipped it into some blue paint.
"Just painting..." He shrugged.
"JUST PAINTING?! Were suppose to be CLEANING!" I yelled. "Calm down!" He rolled his eyes.
I ran over to him and took the paint brush from him and said "You cant do that! Now lets clean"
"Give me the paint brush!" Dylann held out his hand. I shook my head no.
"Give it to me Rubin!" He laughed, I shook my head no again. "Okay FINE!" He said as he took another paint brush, dipped it into the purple paint.

Then I couldn't believe what he did next!!! He took the paint brush that had purple paint dripping from it and painted a line down my face! I gasped and tried to move, which made it worse!
"HOW DARE YOU!" I screamed. "At least it matches your clothes.." He shrugged. I then painted some lines on his face. He looked at me with big eyes, I started to laugh.

Next thing you know, were painting each others face, well any skin part that was see able, and each others clothes.
Paint was splashing everywhere! All over the walls, the floor, EVERYWHERE!
I then came to reality and said "STOP!!!!"
"Why?" Dylann laughed. "We've made a even bigger mess!" I snapped and sat down on a chair and sulked.
I cried, "Were in SOOOO much trouble now!"
Dylann looked at me as he set down his paint brush, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have started this...I seam to start a lot of things!" He looked down at his shoes. I shook my head, "It was my fault to!" I cried.

Then suddenly one of my favorite Lady Gaga's song "You and I" come on the radio.
Dylann walked over to me and held out his hand. I looked up, my eyes were stained with tears and my face was a mess from the paint!
He smiled and said "Come on, take my hand", I smiled and took his hand.
He guided me to stand up and then we walked over to the middle of room.

He put his arm on my waist, and he put my hand that he was holding on his neck and put my other one on his neck to.
We started dancing slowly, we were both smiling at each other and laughing.

"I didn't know you were such a good dancer" I laughed, I was actually really surprised. He didn't seem like the dancing type.
"There's a lot you don't know about me.." He said slowly. Then his face came closer to mine.

His lips touched mine, he was kissing me!
It felt like fireworks were going off in my stomach!

Big Trouble

I rushed through my school and tried my hardest to get to my classroom before the bell rang.
I had woken up late and you know how it takes me FOREVER to get ready. I roughly brushed my hair with my fingers as the wind hit my hair.
I turned the corner and saw my classroom (room 506) all the way down at the end of the long hallway. I started to run, but then a teacher stopped me and yelled at me to "Stop running!"

How do these teachers expect you to get to your classes without running when your late!?
I saw Dylann and he smiled and tried to catch up with me.
"Hey Rebecca!" She said, not panting at all!
"Hi Dylann, I cant really talk right now. I have to get to my class.." I panted, my legs were burning from walking so fast. I don't think I have ever walked THIS fast!
"Aw but I have to show you something.." Dylann smiled big. "What?" I walked faster, the bell was getting ready to ring! I was surprised that Dylann could keep up with me.

"Its something I found!" He explained.
"But I have to get to class-" I said as the bell rang. I stopped walking and frowned. All that fast walking for nothing! "Come on, your all ready late for class" He begged me.
"What if we get caught and get in trouble? We don't have a hall pass.." I said, not knowing what to do.
"Were not going to get in trouble." He assured me, "Please! Its really cool..."

"Okay! If you insist.." I laughed, and followed him.

We walked down many hallways, and kept turning at lots of corners. Then we walked out a door, we were now outside the school. We walked down a pathway to a old looking building, we walked inside it.
"Are we almost there?" I pouted as I looked around for any teachers.
"Yes, actually were here!" Dylann smiled as he pointed to some stairs. I gave him a confused look.
We walked up the stairs, then there was a glass door. I gave him another confused look as he pushed open the door.
My jaw dropped...

It was a HUGE room full of Theater things. There was props, costumes, some cracked mirrors, and there was a huge stage on one side of the room.
"What is this?" I gasped as I ran over to a rack full of play costumes.
"Well this school opened in 1964, back then this was there Music room/ drama room. Then when there was HUGE storm, that completely ruined the school. So they re-built it, and they re-built a new drama room and Music room, they bought all new costumes, props, ect. since they had enough money. I guess they didn't think this was nice enough..." Dylann shrugged.

"I think this is WONDERFUL!!! How did you find it?" I looked around with wide eyes.
"I was late for class one day, and the teacher wouldn't let me in the classroom since I was late. So I started roaming around the school, and I found this place! I knew you would love it!" He smiled at me.

I walked over to a rack full of more costumes, I grabbed a very elegant looking princess dress. I slipped it on over my clothes.
I then walked over to one of the cracked mirrors, and twirled in front of it. I had no idea that Dylann was watching my every move.
Then, I twirled around and caught that he was staring at me. He quickly turned his eyes away.

I laughed and said "How do I look?"
He looked at me and smiled, "You look...Beautiful.."

My cheeks turned red and I turned away to look at myself in the mirror again.

Then we suddenly heard the door open.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN HERE?!?" Somebody yelled. I turned around and saw a lady with long blonde hair in a ponytail. PRINCIPAL JONES!!!!
"Uh..Uh..Nothing!" Dylann looked at from me to Principal Jones.
"Don't tell me your doing nothing. I've been following you two, I watched you two come in here! You both are suppose to be in your classes, NOT fooling around in the old Drama room! Can one of you explain to me why you thought it was OKAY to come here?" Principal Jones yelled and turned to me.

"Um..I-er-..I don't know.." I looked down at me feet.
"Your not allowed in here. This building is so old, it could collapse at any moment. Take that dress off Miss Rubin! You two are in BIG TROUBLE!" She snapped and pointed at Dylann and I with a bony finger.
"How Big?" I gasped as I took off the dress.
"Lets see, you guys have detention everyday for two weeks. AND you are both coming to school on Saturday, you shall help Mrs. Rae clean up the art room, since we had two people start a fights during art. There's Paint, paint brushes, and drawling utensils everywhere!" Principal Jones announced.

Dylann stood up to the Principal and said "Why can those two students who made the mess clean it up?"
I looked at him with big eyes, YOU CANT ACT LIKE THAT TOWARDS THE PRINCIPAL.
"BECAUSE I SAID SO MR. NEWMANN! I was going to make the students clean it up, BUT you two are much more in trouble. So I might as well make you guys do it!" Principal Jones smirked.
"NOW LETS GO!" She yelled and pointed for us to follow her out the door.
